106 commissioned personnel left the agency and by December the agency had 160 commissioned personnel vacancies. The fire season in 2015 proved to be even worse than the 2014 fire season. The Fire Mobilization Plan was authorized a record 30 times, for fires in 15 counties. A total of 867,429 acres burned. The largest fire was again in Okanogan County.
