Distinctive Vehicle Hits A Motorcycle And Flees The Scene
King County -- On March 12, 2017 at approximately 7:03 PM, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) responded to a collision where a motorcycle was traveling SB I-405 just south of SR 167 when it was struck by a vehicle which subsequently fled the scene.
According to witnesses, the fleeing vehicle was a yellow Corvette that drifted from lane 4 to lane 3, traveling at a high rate of speed. The Corvette struck the motorcycle causing the rider to be ejected and sustain two broken legs. Due to the nature of the injuries and fleeing the scene, the driver is being sought for Felony Hit and Run.
Debris found at the scene made it possible for Detectives to work with Chevrolet and determine this is a yellow, 2006-2013 Corvette-C6 Generation. There will be a hole in the fiberglass above the right front wheel well and damage to the passenger side mirror.
WSP Detectives are seeking any witnesses to this collision that may have additional identifying information. Please contact Detective Brody Ford, (425) 401-7742, or by email at email@example.com.
