State Patrol Seeks Assistance Identifying Pedestrian Struck on I-5
Vancouver - The Washington State Patrol is asking for assistance in identifying a pedestrian who was hit and killed in a collision on Interstate 5 just south of Mill Plain Boulevard, Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at approximately 11:25 pm. Troopers responded to the collision scene where the pedestrian had been jogging northbound in the right center of four northbound lanes. The northbound vehicle struck the pedestrian from behind and stopped at the scene. The pedestrian is believed to be white, but possibly mixed race, young adult male, 6'01" tall, weighs approximately 160 lbs., and has a sparse mustache. The pedestrian has hazel eyes and approximately 10 inch long dark hair. He was wearing a black tank top (Brass Tacks Sandwiches), orange shorts, brown sandals, and a gray or faded black Fedora type hat. The pedestrian was wearing a bracelet made of multi-colored pipe cleaners, and had a small stuffed squirrel toy in his pocket.
