24 Firefighters Graduate from the Fire Training Academy

State Fire Marshal Charles M. Duffy announced that 24 firefighters have graduated from the Washington State Patrol Fire Training Academy in North Bend, Washington. Graduation was held on Sunday June 26, 2016, in Snoqualmie, Washington.

On April 2, 2016, the 24 recruits started the 12-weekend Recruit Academy that meets National Fire Protection Association 1001 for Firefighter Professional Qualifications at the Firefighter I, Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations Levels. Graduating firefighters have learned basic fire service principles through classroom instruction and rigorous hands-on live fire training.
