Detectives Seek Witnesses to Shooting and Collision on State Route 167
Washington State Patrol detectives are seeking witnesses a drive by shooting that led to a collision on southbound SR 167 earlier this week.
At 10:32 p.m. on January 25, 2016 the Washington State Patrol dispatch center began receiving 911 calls regarding the shooting and crash.
Troopers arrived to find four occupants from one vehicle that had crashed into the ditch southbound State Route 167, at the entrance ramp from 15th NW. The victim's vehicle, a 1999 Mazda 626, was struck by gunfire at least 13 times. The two front seat occupants were shot several times in the lower extremities suffering non life-threatening injuries. Both rear seat occupants were not injured.
