Fireworks Sales and Use Ends

State Fire Marshal Charles M. Duffy announced today that the sale and use period for consumer fireworks concludes on Saturday, July 5th, at 11:00 p.m.  The next legal period for sales and use will not occur until December.

Fireworks sales begin at noon on December 27, 2015 and end at 11:00 p.m. on December 31, 2015. Discharging of fireworks is then legal from 6:00 p.m. December 31, 2015 until 1:00 a.m. on January 1, 2016.

Duffy wants to remind everyone that, "Personal fireworks require personal responsibility." Be safe.
