Washington State Patrol Seeks Witnesses to Vandalism

King County -- The Washington State Patrol is seeking witnesses to an act of vandalism on Saturday, March 21st at approximately 7:30 am at a WSP owned scale house located at I-90/SR 18 in Snoqualmie. A scale house is used to weigh and monitor commercial vehicles and was not in operation during the time of this incident.

A witness described seeing an Asian male in his late 30's, wearing a green hooded jacket, jeans and gray tennis shoes throwing rocks at the window of the scale house. The suspect may also have had some facial hair and was associated with a brown Toyota Tundra pick-up truck.

Three windows on the scale house were damaged by rocks. The damage to the building is estimated to be more than $2,000.
