Detectives Seek Information on Crash
Spokane -- Washington State Patrol (WSP) Detectives are asking for the public's help as they investigate a collision that occurred March 15 that sent two people to the hospital. The crash happened in the early morning hours on State Route 27 at Waverly Rd, four miles north of Latah, in Spokane County. At 4:35 am, WSP troopers responded to the crash scene after a witness found the red 2002 Ford Explorer. The vehicle was abandoned and severely damaged. Detectives believe the crash happened sometime before 3:00 am.
Troopers later determined that two males had been transported from the scene prior to their arrival. The occupants eventually ended up at the Whitman County Hospital in Colfax. Both occupants were later transferred to Sacred Heart Medical Center for further treatment. Detectives would like to speak to anyone that may have information about the circumstances relating to the crash. Anyone with information can contact Detective Larry McGill at (509) 227-6643.
