Seeking Witnesses to Halloween Night Pedestrian Fatality on State Route 410
Additional witnesses are needed to the pedestrian collision in which a young man lost his life on Halloween night.
Just before 8:00 p.m on October 31, 2012, a pickup versus pedestrian fatal collision occurred on westbound SR410 (milepost 23) in Enumclaw. Two pedestrians, a male and female, were walking on the right shoulder when the male pedestrian, a 16-year-old from Enumclaw, was struck near the westbound fog line by a Nissan pickup truck. The pedestrian did not survive his injuries from the collision.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 20-year-old from Buckley, is under investigation for Vehicular Homicide. The female pedestrian, a 16-year-old from Enumclaw did not report any injury from the collision.
The cause of the collision is under investigation and detectives are seeking additional witnesses that may have seen the collision, or any event leading up to or following the crash. If you have any information or know somebody that does, please contact Detective Greg Wilcoxson at (425) 401-7746.
