Washington State Patrol Interagency Bomb Squad Training at Eagle Harbor
- Daytime Training Might Be Audible to Neighbors -
The Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration, in conjunction with the Washington State Patrol Interagency Bomb Squad and the Washington State Ferries (WSF), will be conducting training exercises September 10-14, 2012, from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The training will occur at the Bainbridge Island Eagle Harbor WSF maintenance facility and will not extend into the evening or nighttime hours.
Throughout the week you may hear flash/bang type noises which is normal for this type of training. The training allows our Puget Sound bomb squads to train in a Maritime environment.
This sensitive nature of the training means that it cannot be open to the public or media.
