Washington State Patrol Seeks Additional Information
The Washington State Patrol is seeking information regarding an injury collision that occurred on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at approximately 1:04 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-90, nine miles west of George.
Investigation indicates a 2005 Chevy Suburban was legally parked on the right side, eastbound shoulder when a metal bar and awning from an eastbound RV came loose and went through the back window of the Suburban. Two of the Suburban’s occupants were injured, one seriously and was airlifted to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee. The driver of the RV continued eastbound on I-90 and may have been unaware of the incident.
