2012 Spokane Truck Driving Championships
The Washington State Patrol’s Commercial Vehicle Division Officers and Troopers will once again be assisting with the 28th Annual Spokane Transportation Club's Truck Driving Championships, scheduled for May 12, 2012.
The competition brings drivers from all over the region to compete in a written knowledge test and driving challenge. The event gives participants a good opportunity to demonstrate their driving skills and their knowledge of equipment and safety. This is also a good opportunity for drivers to prepare for the state championships held in Seattle on June 23, 2012, with hopes of advancing to the national challenge. The day long competition begins at 7:00 a.m. with the written test, followed by the driving portion. The event will be held at Jensen Distribution at exit 272 off of I-90.
This is a great opportunity for the industry and the Washington State Patrol Commercial Vehicle Division to come together with a common interest in commercial motor vehicle safety. WSP Commercial Vehicle Officers and Troopers will be assisting as judges in the truck driving portion of this competition.
