Washington State Patrol Seeks Additional Witnesses
The Washington State Patrol’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the serious injury collision that occurred on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at approximately 5:25 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-5 south of S. 272nd Street in King County. The collision involved a southbound Chevrolet Blazer, an on duty pedestrian Federal Way fire fighter and a vehicle that had previously crashed. The fire fighter suffered critical injuries in the collision.
MAIT detectives are seekingwitnesses that may have seen any of the events prior to and leading up to or the collision itself. This would include the first collision which occurred about 4:40 a.m. and involved a black Ford pickup truck.
