Colville Officer Involved Shooting Update

The Spokane Investigative Regional Response (SIRR) Team’s investigation into the officer involved shooting that occurred last Saturday evening in Colville is progressing.

Stolen property, including a loaded handgun, was recovered from the hotel room where the incident occurred. The autopsy has been completed on the twenty-one year old suspect, Sean J. Bergstrasser.

The interview of Officer Spring has been completed. Officer Spring is an eleven-year veteran of the Colville Police Department and remains on paid administrative leave per department policy.
