Washington State Patrol Seeks Additional Witnesses
The Washington State Patrol’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the three vehicle, one pedestrian serious injury collision that occurred on Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at about 12:15 p.m. The collision occurred on State Route 532 at Sunrise Boulevard on Camano Island. Seriously injured in the crash was Terry A. Linder of the Washington State Department of Transportation. Linder was working near a traffic signal post when he was struck by a westbound pickup truck after it collided with another westbound car and traveled off the roadway onto the raised island Linder was working on. Linder’s work vehicle was also struck.
