WSP Seeks Witnesses to a Trooper Shot With BB Gun
Olympia -- On August 4, 2011, at about 9:35 p.m., a State Patrol trooper had just completed a traffic stop on I-5 just north of the Maple Street overpass and the Interurban Trail in Snohomish County. The trooper was heading back to his patrol vehicle when he was hit by a BB on the left cheek, just below his eye. The trooper received only minor injuries.
Washington State Patrol Investigators are looking for witnesses and/or anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting to call Detective Charles Sletten at (360) 654-1144.
