52 Year Old Bellevue Man Flips 68’ Corvette, Arrested For DUI
During the evening commute of March 20th, 2011 at 5:20 p.m., Troopers responded to a one car collision on westbound I-90 near West Lake Sammamish in King County. Troopers arrived on scene to find a 1968 Corvette upside down near the right shoulder with the driver partially ejected.
Per multiple witnesses, the vehicle was observed traveling at an extremely high rate of speed just prior to colliding with the concrete jersey wall and rolling over. The 52 year old Bellevue man was quickly transported from the scene to Overlake Hospital with serious injuries. He was later arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.
