Detectives Seek Witnesses to Pursuit and Collision
On February 16, 2011 at approximately 10:27 a.m., a one vehicle serious injury collision occurred on the southbound I-5 exit to westbound State Route 18. A Honda Accord was traveling at a high rate of speed while fleeing from a state trooper. The driver took the exit and skidded off the road to the left striking several trees prior to coming to rest. The collision seriously injured all three occupants of the Honda.
The Washington State Patrol Criminal Investigation Division is seeking witnesses to the events leading up to and the actual collision.
