WSP Seeks Witnesses to Fatal Hit and Run in Kirkland
A pedestrian was struck and killed early Sunday morning while attempting to cross southbound Interstate 405 near the NE 124th street off ramp in Kirkland. The driver of a red Kia Spectra with Washington registration 959YWX fled the scene without stopping. An alert witness followed the Kia until she could obtain the registration. The vehicle is missing the right side mirror and has right front and right side damage.
Washington State Patrol (WSP) detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating this vehicle. Anyone with information should call Detective Moate at 425-401-778.
