Trainers work primarily out of the Training Division, responsible for the Trooper Basic Training, and administering all training programs for WSP employees and providing training for other law enforcement agencies as well. The Academy has a nationally recognized Emergency Vehicle Operators Training Program used by law enforcement agencies throughout Washington State. In addition to trooper basic, the Academy supports training in communications, firearms, commercial vehicle enforcement, first aid, basic supervision, management, and other fields related to law enforcement. ![]()
