Washington State Patrol title head Forensics Career Opportunities

Currently, the Washington State Patrol Crime Laboratory Division employs approximately 130 people in its laboratories statewide. Forensic science job duties vary with the job classifications.

Background:
All Washington State Patrol applicants are subject to background investigations, including a polygraph examination, because of the nature of the work and security requirements. See the Employment Requirements (Personal Background Evaluation) page for more information.
