Terrorism Training Unit

The Terrorism Training Unit of the Washington State Patrol Fire Protection Bureau Emergency Mobilization Division is responsible for scheduling and coordinating training in the terrorism field. The unit received a grant from the National Fire Academy to teach NFA Terrorism Classes here in Washington.

Course Offerings:

This training is earmarked for all first responders, including law enforcement, fire, EMS, Public Works, etc.

We also represent the Washington State Patrol Fire Protection Bureau on the State of Washington Committee on Terrorism and the three separate subcommittees [Equipment, Training, Grants and Resources] as well as assisting agencies or people who have other questions regarding extremist groups, terrorism, or other topics in this field.
