The Office of the State Fire Marshal is committed to working together with local governments, the industry, and the general public to improve the quality of the installation of fire protection systems.

As a result of this commitment, the Office of the State Fire Marshal has created the General Plan Review Program to assist local fire jurisdictions in performing the following:

• Pre-construction Meetings
• Plan Review of Fire Protection Systems
• Site Inspections
• Acceptance Testing

These services are being made available upon request to any and all local jurisdictions who may not have the time, availability, or perhaps the resources to provide these functions.
