  • 10/31/2012 - 18 Firefighters Prepare to Graduate from the Fire Training Academy, Fri. 11/2
    State Fire Marshal Charles M. Duffy announced that 18 firefighters are preparing to graduate from the Washington State Patrol Fire Training Academy, North Bend, Washington.  Graduation will be held on Friday November 2, 2012, at the Criminal Justice Training Center 19010 First Avenue S. Burien, WA 98148. Ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. For more information, please see the media release.

  • 10/31/2012 - 20 Firefighters Prepare to Graduate from the Fire Training Academy, Sun. 11/4
    State Fire Marshal Charles M. Duffy is announcing that 20 firefighters are preparing to graduate from the Washington State Fire Training Academy. Graduation will be held on Sunday November 4, 2012, at Carco Theater 1717 Maple Valley Highway, Renton, WA. Ceremony begins at 1:00 p.m. For more information, please see the media release.

  • 12/23/2011 - State Fire Marshal’s Office Launches New Program: Operation Support 2.0
    Operation Support 2.0 is an old program, born again! The new program replicates a successful fire training program, Operation Support, which ended around 1985. The reincarnation of this training program meets one of the goals of the Training and Education Committee.
