Cigarette Ignition Propensity Fire Standard Compliant (FSC)
As of August 1, 2009, per Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 19.305, all cigarette brands sold, or offered for sale to any person located in the state of Washington, shall be certified by the Washington State Fire Marshal’s Office.
Fire Standard Compliant Cigarette Program:
All cigarettes sold in Washington State must be Fire Standard Compliant
(FSC), and certified by the Washington State Fire Marshals Office.
