Wenatchee — The Washington State Patrol (WSP) welcomes eight new Troopers who graduated on November 2, 2017 from the 108th Trooper Basic Training Class. These Troopers are a welcomed addition to the men and women who serve North Central Washington.

Troopers complete over 1,000 hours of training to join Washington’s premier law enforcement organization. The Washington State Patrol academy produces approximately three cadet classes each biennium, which accounts for about 100 to 120 new troopers. On average only about four to six percent of all applicants make the grade to become WSP Troopers.
