WARRANT ISSUED: Washington
WARRANT NUMBER: 0111003398
DATE OF WARRANT: June 15, 2001

DESCRIPTION:
On June 9th, 2001Jesus C. Galacia-Vasquez had been drinking at the "Longbranch Saloon" in the City of Mount Vernon. Galacia-Vasquez had an argument with Francisco B. Reyes and they later left together to return to their migrant work camps. The two men argued again during the drive home, and Francisco Reyes exited the vehicle and began walking along Kamb Road in Skagit County. Galacia-Vasquez drove back to his migrant work camp where he dropped off other occupants in the vehicle. Galacia-Vasquez re-traced the path of Francisco Reyes and it is believed he purposely struck Mr. Reyes with his car. Francisco Reyes was left and died after the collision.

On June 12th, 2001 the defendant's car was found hidden in a remote location in Clackamas County, Oregon. Detectives retrieved the vehicle and found that it was cleaned and washed inside and out, the VIN plates had been removed or defaced, and the license plates were missing. The warrant is for Hit & Run - Death, but the investigation may result in homicide charges.

NOTICE: Do not try to approach the suspect. If you have any information, please call or e-mail Sgt. Marken, (360) 658-2588, Washington State Patrol, Marysville.
