Directions For Sending E-mail



E-mail is monitored Monday through Friday during regular business hours. For emergencies, call 9-1-1 or your local police, sheriff, or State Patrol office.
  1. Please check our frequently asked questions page or review our Site Index.
  2. If you can't find what you need, please select the appropriate mailbox below.
  3. Clearly state your question or request. Your message will be forwarded to the appropriate department to answer. Please note that we cannot give legal advice and that responses may take up to 10 business days.
  4. Please provide your name, e-mail, mailing address, and daytime phone number in case of e-mail failures. In some instances, it may be required to answer your questions by phone.
Employment - For questions about job openings, requirements, applications, and career opportunities with the Washington State Patrol.
Commend an Employee - To compliment a Washington State Patrol employee for a job well done. Please review the WSP Commendation Process.
Criminal History - For questions about criminal history background checks and Washington Access To Criminal History (WATCH) on-line.
OPS Complaint Process - To submit a complaint against the Washington State Patrol or any of its employees. Please review the WSP Complaint Process.
State Fire Marshal - For questions about the State Fire Marshal, fire prevention and safety, fireworks, sprinklers, and inspections.
Vehicle Equipment - For questions about approved equipment for cars, vans, pickup trucks, emergency vehicle equipment, and tow truck certification.
Webmaster Questions - For all other questions that may not apply to any of the E-mail choices above.
