ALL WSP EMPLOYEES WHO RECEIVED TEMPORARY LAYOFF NOTICES, TEMPORARY FURLOUGH NOTICES AND TEMPORARY REASSIGNMENT ORDERS:

The Legislature has passed and the Governor has signed the 2017-19 biennial operating budget. Therefore, state agencies will not have to implement full or partial operational shutdowns July 1, 2017.

This is official notification that all temporary layoff notices, temporary furlough notices and all temporary reassignment orders issued as a result of the possible government shutdown are rescinded. Therefore, WSP employees who received temporary layoff notices, temporary furlough notices, or temporary reassignment orders will return to work on your regular work schedule effective July 1, 2017. If you had approved leave that was cancelled due to the impending temporary layoff, approval for the leave has been reinstated.

Thank you for your patience and continued commitment to the citizens of the state during this uncertain time. Please know that the work you do is an important part of making the WSP great!
